Start-up Visa Program

The start-up visa program targets immigrant entrepreneurs with the skills and the potential to build businesses in Canada that

• Are innovative

• Can create jobs for Canadians

• Can compete on a global scale

• Get the support from a designated organisation i.e. from an incubator, an angel investor or a venture capitalist.
  

Other things you should know about:

• The applicants must meet the minimum level of the Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 5 in either English or French.

• There is no minimum investment required and no age restriction.

• The programme is available for single applicants or teams of up to 5 members.
